HIV Virus Infection Real Time Tube. Duration : 1.12 Mins.
Epistemology - By: (Me) Nicholas Ellis @ www.Youtube.com/sn1pe352 Imperial College London and New England Journal of Medicine 1. We discovered that HTLV-1 spreads directly between lymphocytes through a specialized cell-cell contact that we have named a 'virological synapse' Most viruses spread by causing the infected cell to release thousands of virus particles. Kong-Thon Tsen A physicist and his biologist son destroyed a common virus using a superfast pulsing laser, without harming healthy cells. The discovery could lead to new treatments for viruses like HIV that have no cure. "We have demonstrated a technique of using a laser to excite vibrations on the shield of a virus and damage it, so that it's no longer functional," • Nikola Tesla -- discovered in 1895, alternating current, and invented the AC generator, has published many papers and invented many electrical equipment, including Tesla coil therapeutic tools. • Alexander Gurwitsch discovered -- in 1922 "biophotons" and "mitogenic" mitosis "waves. His work is the first documented evidence of" bio-photons, and became the basis for the design of future bioelectromagnetic therapy devices. • Georges Lakhovsky -- in 1925 invented the multi-wave oscillator, a broad range 2of electrical frequencies that balance back in the cell producesBody, and a paper published heal "News Radio" magazine, entitled "Cancer of ultra radio frequencies." • Royal Raymond Rife -- in the 1930s showed how can its frequency research and ...

Three Unique Features: 1) Simultaneously Viewing Clear Images Through Trinocular Port and Eyepieces; 2) 23mm Photo Port and C-mount Port; 3) Adjustable Simul-Focal Trinocular Port
Professional Graduated X-Y Mechanical Stage with Coaxial Coarse & Fine Focus
Variable Intensity Halogen Lighting, Rack and Pinion Adjustment Abbe Condenser with Iris Diaphragm
The T490B features a unique "simul-focal" optical system with an adjustable trinocular port to enable well-focused clear images on your PC or video screen while simultaneously obtaining sharp, focused images through the eyepieces. Most trinocular microscopes allow you to view either through the trinocular port or the eyepieces only, forcing you to switch between the two. Since these trinocular ports are not "simul-focal" with the rest of the microscope optical system, you have to re-focus the microscope after each switch. The T490B, however, erases this step by providing "simul-focal" viewing. Especially handy for teaching demonstrations, clinical examinations and laboratory applications, the "simul-focal" feature allows your students or colleagues to view clear images simultaneously while you work through the eyepieces. In addition, the T490B's industry standard 23mm photo port can be converted into a C-Mount port by attaching the included C-mount adapter, allowing you to attach most microscope digital cameras and video systems on the market. The T490B includes a 30-degree inclined 360-degree swiveling, compensation-free trinocular head, a 3-D mechanical stage, and an intensity-variable halogen illumination system. This versatile microscope is also capable of being upgraded with various accessories and attachments listed in the optional section for additional functions. It is a perfect laboratory instrument for clinics, Vets, Doctors, and professional students. Made by the same OEM supplier that provides optical instruments for Leica, Zeiss, Nikon and Olympus, it arrives brand new in a factory sealed box and retails for more than ,700.

Make Glass Mirrors with Silver Nitrate Tube. Duration : 2.43 Mins.
How to make a mirror silvering solution from silver nitrate, ammonia, sugar and sodium hydroxide. Glass surfaces can be given coatings of silver that make them into mirrors. WARNING: Perform the whole experiment in less than two hours. This is because the solution generates extremely dangerous/explosive silver nitride on standing. Also, the solution will give off ammonia when heated so you'll need to do this outside, in a fume hood or in a well-ventilated area. And wash away all chemicals with lots of water. To do this, you first need the silver nitrate we made in a previous video: www.youtube.com Get one gram of silver nitrate and one gram of sodium hydroxide. Then add enough water to both to completely dissolve them. Mix them together and you'll get a black precipitate of silver oxide. Then add enough ammonia to completely dissolve the silver oxide. Add four grams of sugar and mix well. The solution will deposit silver coatings when its heated. If you heat it in a glass container it will deposit silver on the inside of the container. To deposit it onto a glass pane you can put the glass into a tray with solution and heat the tray from below. But do not let the solution boil. Boiling tears the silver off the surface. Thin layers of silver can be wiped off with a cloth if the silver goes where you don't want it. Thicker layers can be removed by applying hydrochloric acid. This process produces a back reflective mirror, which is what most household mirrors are. For more ...

1/3 THE GERSON MIRACLE (2004) - [Eng. Captions] Video Clips. Duration : 30.88 Mins.

Organic Materials That Melt by Light Irradiation (Observation by Polarizing Optical Microscope) Tube. Duration : 1.45 Mins.
AIST has developed organic materials that melt from solid to liquid with only the light irradiation, without heating, and can be restored to their original solid state. Although photoisomerization takes place in solution, it is thought to rarely occur in crystals. The newly synthesized organic compounds have molecular weight of about 1100-1700 and undergo photoisomerization even in crystals. This is an important discovery concerning the basic concept of the melting phenomenon of matter. The next objective is to explore the possibilities for various applications, including photolithography. Accelerating Scientific Discovery using Electron Microscopy and Molecular Modeling Tube. Duration : 70.35 Mins.
Computational screening is the name given to the computer docking of three-dimensional models of drug-like compounds into models of potential drug targets, usually proteins. Clearly, this computational method is far faster and cheaper than actually testing tens of thousands of potential drugs, which has been a standard in the pharmaceutical industry for generations. The rate limiting computational step however, and in the inner loop of the search, is the accurate computation of molecular configuration dependent relative binding affinities. In this two part talk I shall first describe a combination of image processing, and computational geometry algorithms to efficiently 3D reconstruct multi-resolution structure models of target proteins, nucleic acids from Electron Microscopy. These targets are culpable in the spread of viral infections (eg HIV). Next, I shall describe how multi-resolution molecular structure models are utilized to develop biophysical models of molecular-molecular (recognition) interaction. Namely, I'll describe (1+epsilon) linear time approximation algorithms for molecular energetics, based on the fast multipole, and the use of non-uniform fast Fourier transform, coupled to O(1) time spherical neighborhood search data-structures, that effectively yield near optimal for lead solutions in computational screening. These algorithms for target elucidation and computational screening are encapsulated with our freely available software called TexMol and VolRover.
This is a brand new, factory sealed, Variscope Series 8621 microscope. The Variscope microscope family of optical instruments is made by one of the largest "private label" optical component fabricators in the world. Included with the quadruple nosepiece are four achromatic multi-coated objective lenses that display a true-color image. You get 4x, 10x, spring loaded 40x, and spring loaded oil immersion 100x objectives included with this microscope. For viewing, we provide two sets of eyepieces: a pair of premium grade wide-field 10x (18mm) eyepieces and a second set of 20x eyepieces. This allows for magnification ranges of 40x, 80x, 100x, 200x, 400x, 800x, 1000x, and 2000x. Ergonomic features include an advanced Seidentopf-type microscope head to provide maximum comfort in adjusting interpuplillary distance. The microscope head swivels 360 degrees and sits at a 30 degree incline. The eyepieces have diopter focusing adjustments. The independent coarse and fine focusing knobs are on both the right and left side of the instrument. Unlike cheap models with simple slide clips, this microscope has a 115mm x 125mm stage with a fully mechanical X-Y axis slide holder so slides can be moved on the stage with fine precision, no fumbling the slide under clips. There is a graduated scale printed on the slide holder to allow you to maintain a record of the location of various structures on a particular slide. This microscope has a built-in 20 watt halogen bulb, with adjustable intensity light controls. Beware of cheaper models that use a tungsten bulb or have a simple on/off switch with no brightness controls. The microscope has a built-in spiral-type N.A. 1.25 Abbe condenser under the stage with an iris diaphragm. This advanced condenser gives you incredible control over the amount and focal length of light aimed at your specimen and is critical for high-powered magnification viewing. A swing-out filter holder is included as are a set of blue and green viewing filters.
